My name is Teresa Patrick. I was scheduled for a flight on 1/9/12 from Nashville, TN to Houston, TX then connecting flight to Lagos, Nigeria. My confirmation # is JSDF74. I arrived 3 hours ealy at the airport in Nashville because of the international flight. i found out at about 1:30pm that my 2:37pmflight would be delayed. I asked the man at the desk if i could take another flight so that i wouldnt miss my connecting flight, he informed me that it would arrive at 6:10pm and i would make my connecting flight. My flight from Nashville arrived at about 7pm. My connecting flight was scheduled to leave at 7:10pm. I ran as soon as i got into the Houston airport. I ran up 2 flights of stairs but by the time i arrived at the gate the plane had left 5mins prior. I was told to go to customer service. I arrived at customer service when the lady at the counter informed me that i would have to catch the flight for the next day. she handed me a piece of paper of a number to call about a hotel for a reduced rate. I then had to spend my money to stay in a hotel room which was the fault of Continental. I asked about my luggage and i was told they would stay in Houston until i left for my flight. The next day i arrived at the airport at 12noon for my 7:10pm flight to Lagos, Nigeria. I was told at 3pm that my flight was cancelled. The lady at customer service informed me that i could either cancel my trip or reschedule until Thursday. I told her i would then reschedule but she needed to send me back to nashville because i wasnt spending anymore in Houston or at the airport. She informed me that my 2 checked luggage would be fine until Thursday. I then took the last flight of the day back to nashville(flight #4132). I live 3 hours from Nashville so i arrived home at about 12midnight. On Wednesday i was told by email that my thursday flight to Lagos was cancelled again so the man rescheduled me for Friday. I then told him that if they cancelled again i would cancel my whole ticket. On Friday morning before i arrived in Nashville i found out at 3am that the flight to Lagos would be cancelled/delayed by hours. I then cancelled my ticket and requested a refund. I asked where my 2 checked bags were and they informed me that they didnt know the location. My luggage ref#BNACO45513. On Saturday i was told that my luggage couldnt be found. I was told to file a claim for my lost 2 baggage. I have not received my luggage nor have i received my refund. This experience has ruined my 2 week vacation. This is the worse experience i have ever had to experience and i dont plan on flying with Continental again and i plan to tell all my family and friends about my bad experience so they wont have the same thing to happen to them. I hope this review will help improve this airlines. I should receive pain and suffering because my loss is great and i put all my belongings in my 2 checked bags and it has been now a week.
